Today I started to read the classic book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I have been reading the book now for about 10 years now and decided that I would truly study this awesome book until I found the secret that was held within its pages.

I feel I am so close to winning success, and this book will help me with the final push towards my goals.

However this time I am going to keep a record and share that record with people hoping that it will inspire people to read the book for the first time or to pick Think and Grow Rich up again and start to earnestly study the book.

As I read this book for the 6^th time I feel like a calm has descended over me and that the worry is slowly disappearing, things are jumping off the pages ,things that I have see, read and hear many times over but they have never really sank in.

Things like “Focus on what you can do not on what you can’t “.

How many time do we have a good idea and then that little voice inside stops us short .

Just like the voice in my head at the moment telling me that nobody will be interested in your thought about this book and it’s a waste of time .

Well I am interested, in my thinking on this subject and that is a good starting point.

So why do we do that? I can only speak for myself , low self-esteem, habitual thinking, and not realising the true potential that I have .

This is my log of how I am transforming my life and becoming the person that I want to be, using the 13 principles of Think and Grow Rich.

Ask yourself this question Do You know What You Want?

Because if you don’t know what you want then how are you going to get it?

This is something that I personally needed to work,until today.

Today it all started to become clear.

Most people don’t know what they want so they can not build a burning desire that will carry you through the tough times.

If you look at people that are successful then you will find that people are not born successful they become successful.

“There is no such thing as SOMETHING FOR NOTHING” Success has a price and you must pay that price”

Am I willing to pay that price? And what is that price?

The answer to the first question is yes and the answer to the second question is given to us by Napoleon Hill, We must become Success Conscious !

“Success comes to those who become Success Conscious” . “Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become Failure Conscious”.

Mind Power :

Well here is a big clue, to what we are going to be discussing.

“TRULY THOUGHTS ARE THINGS”

JUST PONDER THAT FOR A MOMENT Napoleon Hill Think And Grow Rich.

Our thoughts are things,….. that’s your thought and mine . “Whatever your mind can conceive it can achieve”,

If you can think it you can have it. Now for me that was a sticking point, until I really started to look at my life and the way thing have been going for me.

So what are you thinking? How are you thinking ? Do you talk yourself down ? Sell yourself short I know I did.

I think this is the first key to our success controlling those thoughts. May be controlling is the wrong thing to say monitoring the thought at first and as you get more adapt then controlling and eventually shutting out all negative thoughts.

I have found this difficult, however me saying that I find monitoring my thought difficult, will make it difficult .

So as from today I have acknowledged that fact I now move on and train myself to change that fact into fiction.

Throughout the Think and Grow Rich Napoleon Hill talks about having a “Definite Purpose”

So set yourself a definite purpose and then constantly intensify your desire to become that Purpose your purpose should become an all consuming Obsession.

THINK ABOUT YOUR PURPOSE EVERYDAY.

The 13 principles in the book are about acquiring a Success Consciousness.

Retraining you mind to accept that you can do it, you can have anything you wish, if only you will pay the price. Good health, Money, Love, Success whatever that means to a person.

Napoleon Hill states it only takes “0ne sound idea to achieve success”.

He also states that our ideas are intangible impulse of thought that can be transmuted into its physical counterpart by the application of know principles.

Think And Grow Rich has those principles all laid out for you if you will only study them.

“ We foolishly believe that our own limitations are the proper measure of limitations” Napoleon Hill Think And Grow Rich .

We are quick to tell people that they can’t do something or even worse tell ourselves that we are not capable of being successful .

This was a big moment for me in the book.

“ The Universe in which our earth floats in which we move and have our being is it’s self a form of energy, and it is filled with a form of universal power which ADAPTS it’s self to the nature of the thoughts we hold in our mind and INFLUENCES us’ in natural ways to transmute our thoughts into their physical equivalent.”

The point that struck home to me was INFLUENCES us’ in natural ways. So there is an energy which adapts its self to the nature of my thoughts. So if I am having a positive or negative thoughts, this energy is INFLUENCEING me in a natural way.

Natural Way = as is normal or to be expected, the natural consequences.

What does that mean influences me in a natural way?

Well if we are thinking about what we want all the time and planning how we can get what we want then the universe will naturally help us by laws and principles.

People ,things and money will start to come our way naturally, we will start to expect good positive things to happen , just like sometimes we expect bad things to happen.

This is why I am studying this book. Success is a science and sciences is about formulas and principles and we have them all here in Think and Grow Rich.

“We are masters of our fate captains of our souls”

The tricky part about all of this is that this power makes no attempt to discriminate between destructive thoughts and constructive thoughts that’s our job.

If you are thinking poverty then you are going to get poverty. It takes the same amount of energy to think lack as it does to think about Abundance.

We are the gate keepers of our mind.

These thoughts are like a magnet pulling people and circumstances towards us. Theses people and things will harmonize with our thoughts and get stronger the more we think about our wants.

Before we can have any success at all we must magnetize our mind with a burning desire for success and riches.

We must become money conscious, as we become money conscious this will drive us to start making definite plans for our success attracting all the people and things we need for that success.
