It is now 2am on Thursday the 28th July 2011 and I am totaly cleaned out, knackered, shattered .
My resolve and stick ability has been tested to the max . You see last night my blog crashed! Imean everything the theme the content, the whole kit and caboodle gone into thin air. Panic was my first thought then anger .
Questions started to run through my mind like a frieight train out of controll, Why was this happening to me ? Is this a sign to STOP Waisting Time and Money trying to earn a living online and just give up !
My heart was dying like a flower out of water this was at yesterday 10 :30 pm on the 27th . Then this voice said to me ” The hidden Guide lets no one enjoy great achievement without passing the PERSISTENCE TEST . Those who carn’t take it simply dont make the grade” WOW where did that come from ? I asked myself . It was burried deep in the sea of my subconscious waiting for this moment to arrive, when I needed it most , just at the right time .
Anyway I worked all through the night until 5:30 am and then back up at 10:30am to start again. Every time a negetive thought came into my head or I felt like packing the whole internet game in and stopping trying to build a dream and a life or myself and get a JOB! I would hear some thing from the book .
“There may be no heroic connotation to the word PERSISTENCE; but the quality is to a person’s character what carbon is to steel “.
Then I had my first break through at about 3:15 pm on the next day I got some of my stuff back online and then I decided that I would turn this into a positive and make my Even blog better .This book kept me in the game, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill .
As you will know if you visit my blog regularly that I am a massive fan of “Think and Grow Rich” and its times like these, that the years of reading and practicing the principles in”Think and Grow Rich” are needed,!
It’s easy to practice being POSITIVE when things are good it when things get tough, when you really find out how far you have travelled down the path of SUCCESS . Over the past 36+ hours I have taken a MASSIVE step towards my Goals and it all thanks to “Think and Grow Rich” or should I say Napoleon Hill , For his 20 years + of persistent dedication and stick ability to the task .
I am also going to give Myself a Big pat on the back for keeping going and getting to the next step of my internet career .
So what was It in” Think and Grow Rich” that made me carry on ?
Two stories the first was 3ft from Gold, but the others story was, Fannies Hurst story how for years she was pounding the streets of broadways with no success then all of a sudden it happened and money came so fast and in such great abundance, she did not know what to do with it. “Very Well Broardway you may whip some, but not me “ (Fannie Hurst From THINK And Grow Rich )
That story was from the chapter on persistence and it talks about passing the persistence test . Well I know one thing I HAVE PERSISTENCE .
